Christmas Outing – unfortunately not taking place
A Three Course Christmas Lunch and Pantomime on Thursday, 21st November at Holme Lacy House Hotel. We’ll have a short stop in Hereford en route. Join us for this day out.
Book with £40 payment by 9th September please.
Our Autumn outing takes us to the renowned Hampton Court Palace and its world famous beautiful gardens. With so much to see even if you are a past visitor there are always new attractions to explore.
Take a well earned break in one of the restaurants or cafes each have a wide choice of goodies to tempt you!
Cost (based on 28 seats) is £40.50 to include entrance, coach, driver gratuity and group fee. The last few places remaining must be reserved by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and paid for by our September meeting.

Join fellow members at the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton on Wednesday 25 September for a matinee performance of CALENDAR GIRLS a popular and much acclaimed show.
We have reserved stall seats and the cost including coach, driver’s tip and group fee will be around £50, depending on numbers.
Seats must be booked by the June monthly meeting as the tickets have to be paid for early July.

WELL DRESSINGS IN BUXTON, DERBYSHIRE – WEDNESDAY 10 JULY
For those of you not familiar with what a Well Dressing is – they are celebrated in at least twelve villages in Derbyshire, and of special significance is the village of Eyam whose residents quarantined the entire village because of the plague.
We have chosen Buxton as a place to visit, which will have three Wells dressed and is a lovely Spa town with a variety of shops and eateries.
We will stop at Leek for a coffee break on the way to Buxton.
The Well Dressings are constructed the week before on puddled clay set in a wooden frame,with flower petals, leaves and berries creating a picture, often religious.
Cost £18.00 to include coach, group fee and driver gratuity. Coach leaves Stourbridge at 9.00am and Kinver at 9.15am.
GUIDED TOUR OF KINVER ROCK HOUSES – WEDNESDAY 8 MAY
Sylvia has arranged a private guided tour of the historic Rock Houses on Kinver Edge.
Meet at KSCA at 12.45 – car sharing possible. The tour will take approximately one hour and will include time with the Ranger who will describe the wildlife and nature of the Edge.
Cost is £3 for National Trust Members and £8.40 for non NT. The tea rooms will be open for light refreshments, please indicate at time of booking whether you require refreshments.

TUESDAY 30 APRIL – OUTING TO POWYS CASTLE, STOPPING AT COED-y-DINAS GARDEN CENTRE EN ROUTE, WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO BROWSE SHOPS AND ENJOY LIGHT REFRESHMENTS.
Powys Castle is the home of the Herbert family, who spent more than 400 years transforming a medieval fortress into the comfortable family home you see today. The UK’s largest private collection of Indian treasures is housed in the Clive museum.
The world renowned gardens are an eclectic mix of Italianate terraces filled with herbaceous borders and a formal garden with clipped yews and a woodland area boasting champion trees. All in all 26 acres to explore but we don’t expect you to cover every inch!! A pleasure to see at any time of the year.
