As we all now know, we are probably in for a difficult few weeks. Most of us will be of an age putting us in the “vulnerable group” so we urge everyone to follow the guidelines and stay safe and healthy.
We are looking to put in place some methods of supporting some of our activities to continue going ahead online, together with ideas for activities and other ways we might encourage and look out for each other.
Please check the pages under CoronaVirus on the menu to see what they are able to do during this time of social distance.
Check the Latest News for our Members to see what people are doing to keep themselves busy – you never know, you might find some great ideas for yourself as well as information people are able to share in the comments.
If you’re on Facebook, you could join our members group, found here to keep in touch with some of your U3A friends. This is a private groups and is for tips, information, encouragement and requests for support – please use that or contact the committee. This website is public so please don’t post personal information on here.
On the subject of safety, as expected, (and so disappointing!) the scams have started. Please check out the CV Scams page for more information and think carefully before clicking on any links or downloading from any text, WhatsApp message or email etc.
All the best and stay safe.
