Birdwatching

The group has been operating since January 2016, and we are always pleased to welcome new members, whether they are new to birdwatching or more experienced birders. We will be able to help and share knowledge in bird identification and discovery.  We have a monthly outdoor meetings programme, visiting sites of interest locally (half day), and some venues a little further afield (whole day), to enjoy a wider variety of species.   As well as field meetings we have had bird ringing demonstrations at Gerry’s home and also at Belvide Reservoir. For field visits, car sharing can be arranged. Generally, meetings are held on one Tuesday in every month.
